The MAV Cluster promotes a training course in Printed Electronics

Clúster Mav,

The MAV Cluster has promoted a training course in printed electronics that will take place next year. It is a training offer that the association prepares with the technological centers LEITAT and EURECAT, and by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and the CSIC (CNM-IMB and ICMAB), all of them members of the MAV Cluster.

Printed Electronics is a technology that allows printing directly on different flexible substrates, electronic components, conductive tracks, sensors and circuits. The substrate remains flexible and maintains its properties. It is an enabling technology that has enormous potential to cover the holes that conventional electronics currently has, especially from the perspective of creating new products and new solutions from advanced materials.

The use of new advanced materials should enable the deployment of printed electronics in many markets. This is why the MAV Cluster, which already has a working group dedicated to bringing together all the necessary actors so that the potential of printed electronics can be carried out collaboratively and with impact, has decided to go ahead this initiative.

In addition, printed electronics have applications in almost all sectors and markets: health and medicine, sports, textiles, mobility, packaging, industry 4.0, consumer electronics and energy.

COURSE DETAILS

The course will take place from April to July 2024 in a hybrid and flexible format, meaning that it will take place virtually, although some sessions will take place in the training centers. It is a 100% subsidized training that will last between 30 and 60 hours. Students who take it will obtain a certificate issued by the MAV Cluster.

In order to finish designing the course and adapt it to the needs of those interested, the MAV Cluster has published a virtual survey to find out the interests of potential students.
