The MAV Cluster has six projects approved in the call for AEI grants

Six projects participated by the MAV Cluster have been approved in the latest call for grants to Innovative Business Groups (AEI), promoted by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

Of the six approved initiatives, five have been led by the MAV Cluster and one by the Spanish Plastics Center (CEP). In total, 27 organizations from various sectors have been involved, with 13 members associated with the MAV Cluster: Compoxi, Cooling Photonics, AMES, Equilab, AESA, IMB-CNM-CSIC, AENIUM, Pangea Aerospace, Faxe Especialidades Químicas, Refisa, Elisava, Dan*na and Oimo.

The budget for the six projects exceeds 1.6 million euros, while the approved subsidy is 1,286,473 euros.

According to the final resolution of the call, published on November 28, 2023, a total of 281 projects at state level have been subsidized through the Next Generation funds, which add up to an allocation of nearly 53,857,480.00 euros intended to promote digital and sustainable transformation projects in SMEs.

APPROVED PROJECTS:


  • BIOCEL. Industrial research project for a production, monitoring and application system of biologically based textile filaments. Participants: Elisava, Dan*na, LCI, Fitex, Modacc and MAV Cluster. Total budget: €366,087. Subsidy: €280,489.
  • H2oMe. Development of an inductive reactor of high energy efficiency, manufactured with additive technology, for the distributed generation of H2 without CO2 emission through catalytic pyrolysis of methane, focused on the automotive industry. Participants: AMES, Equilab, AESA, IMB-CNM-CSIC, CIAC and MAV Cluster. Total budget: €222,805. Subsidy: €161,426.
  • INHO_TOOL - Intelligent Hollow Composite Tooling. Hollow mold system of composite materials with intelligent technology. Participants: Faxe Especialidades Químicas, Refisa, Centro Tecnológico Miranda de Ebro (CTME) and Cluster MAV. Total budget: €200,734. Subsidy: €156,939.
  • PES 3D - Space green propulsion for additive manufacturing. Research and development of satellite engines with sustainable fuels, through laser additive manufacturing of advanced metallic materials. Participants: AENIUM, Pangea Aerospace, Know-How Innovative Solutions, MetaIndustry4 and MAV Cluster. Total budget: €379,636. Subsidy: €302,176.
  • Smart Battery Case 2. Functionalization of materials for electromobility. Development of digitized and technologically advanced battery boxes for electric cargo drones. Participants: Compoxi, Cooling Photonics, Rotimpres, CAT UAV, Packaging Cluster and MAV Cluster. Total budget: €285,717. Subsidy: €225,785.
  • TeraMAT. Control and Formulation of Sustainable Materials based on new digital technologies based on electromagnetic interaction with recycled and bio-based plastic materials in the terahertz range. Participants: Oimo, Citsalp. Gaiker, Centro Español del Plástico and MAV Cluster. Total budget: €208,536. Subsidy: €159,658
