MAV Day focused on the energy transition from the point of view of advanced materials.
The MAV Day is the annual face-to-face meeting for members of the MAV Cluster and the agents of the value chain of advanced materials and their technologies, where companies and entities can interact among them, explore new opportunities for collaboration and enjoy interesting thematic presentations.
This year's conference will be focused on the energy transition from the point of view of advanced materials.
Achieving climate neutrality by 2050, as marked by the European Commission in the Green Deal, entails deep decarbonisation of energy It is an unprecedented challenge that requires incorporating renewable energies, intensifying the energy efficiency of industry, cities and transport, replacing fossil fuels with green energy and deploying smart grids facilitating advanced management of generation, storage and energy distribution.
In this context, the advanced materials sector has great opportunities to develop solutions for a competitive new generation of renewable energies (including the 'green hydrogen'), as well as a key challenge to decarbonise industries and achieve CO2-free mobility.
The day will count with companies and entities with a long history and experience in the field of energy and advanced materials.
There will also be an opportunity for B2B and networking meetings, where ideas can be shared and new connections established discussions between the participants.
A unique day open to everyone that will start at 9 am and end with a joint lunch.
